What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, email, phone number, city, optional street address and the project details you provide. If you used the estimator, we also store the estimate you saw.
Why we collect it
Only to respond to your request, prepare a quote, schedule work and keep records of the projects we complete. We never sell or rent your information.
Where it is stored
Your request is stored securely in our website’s private database. Access is limited to Blue Whale Painting staff who handle quotes.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project records are kept as long as required for warranty, tax and legal purposes.
Your rights
Under BC’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Third parties
Our website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and shows reviews provided by Google. These services may process technical data such as your IP address under their own privacy policies.
